Garden Lights

Want to be the envy of your neighborhood?  If you are reading this article I know one thing about you.  I know that your care about what your yard looks like.  Good for you, I applaud your for this.  After all home ownership is the American dream.  Once you have finally put yourselves in a position to own a home it only makes sense that you would want keep it looking as nice as possible.

 Many simple projects can be done to enhance the appearance of your home.  One such project would be to install garden lights.  This is a relatively inexpensive and fast way to make your yard shine.  Enjoying your gardens eye-catching beauty whenever you desire is the goal. Outdoor lights create a very charming and peaceful ambience that can only be appreciated at night.   There are many stylish lights to choose from. I’m sure you will not have a hard time finding just the right one for your taste.  

 After installing garden lights at my home several years ago I truly have become the envy of my neighborhood.  The compliments that I have received have greatly increased my sense of pride in my home. While many have asked who I used to install my collection of lights I never get tired of telling them it was me.  

My wife likes to host parties and is very much a social butterfly. Adding the lights has allowed us to take our parties outside where we are able to enjoy the splendor of the night. When the sun sets our yard is transformed with lighting. The lights accentuate the beauty of the flowers and plants. Our trees and shrubs are displayed as though the moon was shining on them and nothing else.

You might be thinking to yourself: I would like to decorate my yard with garden lights someday. You are probably really focused on “someday” because in your mind summer is half over. Your plan is to get to it next year. You and I both know that odds are if your wait until next year it won’t get done. Next year after many of the pressing yard care needs are address it will be mid summer and you will be saying the same thing. I should add some lighting to my yard. Nothing will have changed and you will still not have any garden lighting. This is exactly why now is perfect to get started.

I realize that in this economy everyone is looking to save money.  With this in mind now is the perfect time to install your garden lights. Let me explain as seasons end suppliers need to get rid of inventory.  This is great news for the consumer as it often means discounts.  Sometimes your can even find great clearance deals.  My wife shops this way for our children.   For those of you with kids you know how expensive it is just to keep them clothed.  So what my wife does is she buys next years clothes at the end of each season.  Right now many retailers are trying to get rid of their summer inventory.   She is now buying discounted clothes for next summer.   I’m here to tell you that a little foresight and planning saves our family hundreds of dollars each year.  So what’s my point the same philosophy holds true for garden lights.   With some effort to shop around I’m sure that you will be happy with the value you find.  Many great deals are available online and will save you time and hassle as they can be shipped right to your door step.

Solar Lights: Are great because they are easy to install and relatively inexpensive. For those of you that consider yourself eco-friendly solar lights is an excellent choice. Not having to do any electrical work is also a strong selling point.

Patio Umbrella Lights: Patio umbrellas with lights are very charming. They will greatly enhance your dinner party experience. Your guest will be very impressed and I’m sure will love the look and feel of the dinning area created by these lights.

Pathway Garden Lights: Are a perfect way to light up you walkways. These lights provide a functional purpose in that it helps you see where you are going. They truly add to the curb appeal of your home as they illuminate your walkways.

Pond Lights: The reflection projected on your pond by lights is truly breathtaking. These lights are great for anyone with a pond that is looking for a way to enhance their ponds aura at night.

String Lights: Can be hung around a doorway, in trees or shrubs. They are great if you have a gazebo. You can get all kinds of crazy with your string lights when decorating a gazebo. The utility of these lights are endless. It’s up to you and your creativity.

Garden Themed Lights: As their name illustrates each light has a theme. I have seen many different themes some of the most popular themes are flowers, ladybugs, dragonflies and a variety of unique shapes.

Whatever creative assortment that you chooses one thing is certain you won’t regret your decision. Many of you probably didn’t realize just how easy it can be to appreciate your garden during the evening. So I hope you will have fun lighting up with garden lights.
